Description

Running Jetpack Is Out Advanced Gameplay Tactics

Pro-Level Advice

  • Don't burn your fly meter the second you get airborne. Short bursts of the jetpack keep you steady, and you'll need that fuel later when the platforms start thinning out.
  • Coins matter more than they look like they do at first. Grabbing every one you pass isn't just for show, since they feed straight into upgrading how much damage you deal down the line.
  • The switch between 2D corridors and 3D open stretches catches people off guard. Slow down slightly right as the perspective shifts, just enough to reorient yourself before committing to a jump.
  • Dropping through platforms with S is underused by most players. It's a faster way to reset your position than trying to walk back and re-jump, especially when something's chasing you from above.
  • Combine A and D taps with quick jetpack pulses instead of holding Z the whole time. Fuel management ends up being the real skill ceiling here, not raw reflexes.

Control Scheme

  • W – Jump over gaps, obstacles, and low hazards.
  • A / D – Move left and right through the level.
  • S – Drop down through certain platforms.
  • Z – Activate the jetpack for sustained or burst flight.

The whole point is getting through each stretch of level in one piece while stacking up enough coins to make your character actually hit harder. It's part runner, part platformer, and the flipping between flat 2D scenes and fuller 3D areas keeps the pacing from ever settling into a rhythm you can zone out to. You're not just dodging pits and gaps, either — every coin you skip is an upgrade you're leaving on the table, so the smarter route isn't always the fastest one, it's the one that loots the most on the way through. Get good at reading when to fly, when to drop, and when to just run, and the later stretches stop feeling like a wall and start feeling like a puzzle you're slowly cracking.
